Cookie Policy

Last updated: 5 November 2026.

What cookies and similar storage do

Cookies are small values stored by your browser. Session and local storage can serve similar purposes. BUY99 uses shopping/session functions so a cart can persist and requested account functions can work. Clearing or blocking these values may empty your cart or sign you out.

Shopping and account storage

• woocommerce_cart_hash and woocommerce_items_in_cart: detect cart changes, normally for the browsing session.
• wp_woocommerce_session_*: identifies the server-side cart/session, normally up to two days under WooCommerce defaults.
• wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_* and wordpress_test_cookie: may be used when logging in or checking browser cookie support; duration depends on the login/session settings.
• Browser storage used by cart fragments may keep displayed cart information in sync. Storage varies with the features you use.

These are relevant software defaults, not a claim that every visitor receives every cookie or that settings can never change.

Traffic measurement and hosting resources

WooCommerce can use sbjs_* cookies to attribute visits and orders to traffic sources. BUY99’s policy setup disables this optional attribution feature; existing values may remain until expiry or you clear them. An inspection on 5 November 2026 also observed a resource from cdn-reach.hostinger.com and a __cf_bm cookie on the Hostinger domain. These are distinct from BUY99’s cart cookies. A browser inspection does not establish every server-side provider practice or every possible cookie.

Your choices

You can inspect and clear cookies and site storage in your browser settings, including third-party cookies. You can block them, but blocking shopping or login cookies may prevent those features from working. Optional tracking must not be treated as necessary merely because it helps marketing, and browsing is not consent. If optional tracking is introduced, it must have an effective choice with rejection as easy as acceptance and a way to withdraw consent; a notice alone is not a technical control.

Questions and updates
