About this notice
This notice explains personal information used to operate BUY99 at buy99.in. For privacy questions or requests, email info@buy99.in. We aim to explain our use of information clearly and collect only what is needed for the purpose.
Information involved in shopping
- Order and contact information: the name, email, phone number, billing/delivery address and PIN code you submit, products ordered, quantities, totals and order status.
- Account information, if you create an account, and correspondence you send to support.
- Technical information involved in delivering and protecting the site, such as IP address, browser/device information, request times, error logs and cart/session identifiers.
- Information needed to arrange a refund, where applicable. COD checkout itself does not request card or bank details. Never send passwords, OTPs, card security codes or banking login details to support.
Why information is used
We use relevant information to maintain your cart, process and fulfil orders, communicate about delivery, provide support, handle returns/refunds, maintain accounts you request, protect the service and meet applicable recordkeeping duties. Optional promotional messages require a separate choice; refusing or withdrawing that choice does not prevent ordinary shopping or order support.
Who may need access
Access is limited to people and service providers who need information for their role, such as order support, delivery, hosting, email delivery and refund processing where used. BUY99 is hosted through Hostinger; WordPress and WooCommerce provide the store software. Using this software does not by itself mean all order data is sent to its developer. Hosting resources may process technical connection information. The minimum delivery information necessary may be provided to the delivery provider handling your order. We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect lawful rights, subject to applicable safeguards. We do not sell customer personal information or authorise its use for unrelated advertising.
Cookies, analytics and third-party services
Shopping and account functions use cookies or similar storage. Our Cookie Policy explains their purposes and controls. Optional analytics or advertising requires a separate, informed choice where applicable; browsing alone is not permission. Third-party websites you choose to visit have their own privacy practices. Retention and security
Information should be kept only for as long as needed for the stated purpose and applicable legal, accounting or dispute obligations. Records that must be retained for those purposes may not be immediately erased when an account is closed. We use reasonable safeguards and restrict access according to role; no online service can promise absolute security. If information cannot be deleted on request, we will explain the applicable reason and restrict unnecessary use. Provider locations and legal retention periods can differ; we do not promise that every record is stored only in India or specify an unverified deletion period.
Your choices and requests
You may contact us to request information about your data, access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of optional consent, or help exercising rights available under applicable law. We will explain the outcome or any lawful limitation. We may ask for proportionate verification to protect your information from disclosure to someone else; this is separate from our no-proof-of-defect return policy. Do not send identity documents unless we explain why a specific, minimal verification is necessary. You may also raise concerns with the competent authority under applicable law.
Children and changes
The store is intended for purchases by people legally able to order, or with a parent or guardian’s assistance. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information that should be removed or requires special handling. Updates to this notice will be dated here. A new use requiring consent will require a fresh choice, not a retrospective assumption that you agreed.
